The aim of the present investigation is to evaluate the longitudinal, circular and radial strain and strain rate of LV myocardium in healthy people. The study has included 60 healthy volunteers. The X-Strain method has a reasonably good reproducibility. The meanings of circular and radial strain has not been significantly different at basal, middle, and apical ventricular levels, however, the longitudinal strain have had statistical difference. The circular strain rate has not differed at all levels of the LV. Radial and longitudinal strain rate have had significant differences.
